Just a few images from an AirBNB shoot last week in Birmingham. The house itself is a modest 2 bed, but it's always possible to show a property in its best light. All images here were shot with the Canon 5DS-R, which gives very sharp detail owing to the absence of the low pass filter that most cameras have over the sensor. The lens used for the general room shots was the Canon TS-E 17, which is ultrawide for a full frame camera, and allows for perspective correction on camera. All the internal images combine reflected flash with ambient light, ensuring even lighting and avoiding washed-out areas around light fittings and windows. The detailed internals use a similar lighting setup, but with the Canon 24-105 with wider aperture for selective focus; these are generally done at a focal length of around 80mm.
