Warehouse and industrial photography

These photographs are of the Lawton Tubes warehouse in Coventry.  The challenge was to make strong architectural images of a busy working environment, whilst being constantly aware of moving vehicles and cranes.  The architects, Pinnegar Hayward Design of Birmingham, used copper as an emphatic motif in the fins on the office windows to the front of the building.  At the time of the shoot, the sun set at around 8pm, which meant the redness of the copper could be especially brought out by the fiery light.
